M.S.Ramaiah College of Hotel Management is part of the prestigious GOKULA EDUCATION FOUNDATION started by Late Shri M.S.Ramaiah a great visionary, noted enterpreneur, successful industrialist and committed philantropist. Shri M.S.Ramaiah established M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore in 1962 using his own resources with the laudable objective of giving deserving students the opportunity to pursue further studies in the field of their interest. Believing in the motto "race, caste and creed should not be a barrier to further ones wisdom" he opened the doors of his institutions to brilliant, motivated and committed students. Nearly 40 years of careful nurturing , dedication and total commitment "the M.S.Ramaiah Institutions" have grown into a mammoth "Jnana Gangotri" with 15 institutions spread over a 150 acre campus in the heart of Bangalore. It has a student strength of over 5000 pursuing careers in Engineering, Medicine, General sciences and Management.

Social Commitment
MS Ramaiah College of Hotel Management is working along with the Ecumenical Institute for the Upliftment of the Dalit Community. After completing a programme on Facilities, Upkeep and Maintenance , there is a course being conducted on Basic Computer Application for a group of youngsters of this community.
