On 3rd April 2009 , the Annual Convocation was held at the M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.
The invocation was followed by the lighting of the lamp . Ms Neena Joshi, Academic Head, gave the welcome address. The Principal, Mr Abby Mathew, addressed the audience and gave the Annual Report for 2008-09. The Presiding Officer, Shri B.R. Prabhakara, Chief Executive, GokulaEducation Foundation gave a speech.
Mr. Vijay Gollarahalli, Vice President Operations and Director of Development of Le Meridien , Bangalore was the Chief Guest and gave the advised the graduating batch, who are on the threshold of their careers valuable words of advise.
Mr. Sandeep Shenava , Human Resource Manager, The Leela Kempinski , Bangalore and Mr. Murali S. Mohan Rao , Training Manager, Le Meridien , Bangalore were present.
The alumini who graduated in 1999 were felicitated. Mr Manjit Singh , Ms Malini Singh, Mr Anurag Dixit and Madhusudan were present. Mr Ravi Singh, Sales Manager , Savannah Sarovar , Bangalore shared his experiences in the last ten years.
The meritorious students were given awards .
Lohit S. who graduated in 2008 received the Ratheesh Memorial Award.
Pallavi Patnaik was awarded the "Best Outgoing Student of the Year", after which Ms Premila Bina gave the vote of thanks.
The function ended with the National Anthem.
The event was followed by a small cultural programme and dinner in the college premises.
